6 Emerging Female Vloggers You Should Watch

AUG 25, 2016:

Who run the (Youtube) world?  Girls.  In 2016, they’re taking over the digital space one video at a time.  Here are six names you need to know.

Kyla Laird: Beauty Vlogger
If you are in the market for an amazing tutorial inspired by Beyoncé’s Formation music video, you’re in luck.  Vlogger Kyla Laird has that and much more.  In just over a year, Kyla has grown her YouTube following from 1,000 to almost 33,000, thanks to her straightforward wig videos and make-up tutorials.  We expect great things!

Crystal Joy: Creative Animator
Crystal Joy combines animation, music and vlogging in her “mildly creative, mostly awesome” YouTube Channel.  She shares funny, often personal stories about her childhood and daily life, and then adds animation, creating videos that are whimsical, playful and totally addictive.

Amy Schmittauer: Host of Savvy Sexy Social
If you’re in the process of creating an online brand (and who isn’t?), Amy Schmittauer’s YouTube Show Savvy Sexy Social is for you.  She vlogs about social media hacks, Youtube tips, and reviews tech products.  She is just about to hit the 50k subscriber mark, but her most popular video “How to Embed a YouTube Video in a Power Point Presentation” has over 214k views.

Melissa Denise: Beauty Vlogger
With just under 70k subscribers, Melissa Denise is well on her way to becoming the YouTube authority on natural hair.  Her videos from how to restore damaged hair to how to transition to natural hair have given her over 3.3 million views.  What’s more?  She also creates some amazing DIY costume videos.

Natalie Barbu: Lifestyle Vlogger
College-aged girls love Natalie Barbu’s take on beauty, fashion, life and all things college. Proof that she has her finger on the pulse of Millennials?  Her most recent video is a Bachelorette JoJo-inspired tutorial.  Barbu boasts just under 40k subscribers, but at only 18, we predict she has a bright YouTube future ahead.

Keishanista: Style Vlogger
Hailing from Barbados, Keisha has a background in Fashion and Merchandising, and her channel content ranges from fashion styling to beauty DIYs and reviews. Her most vlogged topic is natural hair—she’s in the process of growing her hair and vlogging every step of the way.
